Day 6: Denver Review and Blogging on an Airplane

Five days completed in Denver. As I write this I’m ok a flight bound for Detroit Michigan to visit my brother. Have I ever mentioned how much I love my iPhone??? Gotta love the wordpress app with the ability to save for publishing later. Too bad I just wrote like three paragraphs and lost it for no good reason.
So Denver was fun. Despite the work parts. Rather productive too. Which is good. While there I got to visit some friends, see an eagle nesting, eat at a great middle eastern restaraunt with the best houmous ever, try some local brewpubs, and see some of the greatest scenery this country has to offer.
I was kind of surprised by all the lines at the airport checkin today. That’ll teach me not to checkin online ahead of time. Pfft. I think today a lot of people were traveling for spring break. Can’t complain though. I’m starting vacation today too!!!!
So this airplane is a bit strange. It’s an express jet. The first class has 1 + 2 seats, so an off center aisle. The schlep seats are a normal 2 + 2 center aisle. I’m in the first row right behind first class and my seat is kind of right in the path of the off center aisle. I got to greet everyone that came onboard behind me. I’m not sure of I’m supposed to but I’m stretching out. Love the footroom!!!
Call me a geek, but one of the things i’m most excited about going to Michigan is watching the last two episodes of Battlestar Galactica with the bro. Next to last episode is tonight. To be honest, I specificaly took an early enough flight to make sure we’d get back I’m time to watch it. Heh heh heh. I had forgotten to make a prediction post or the regular BSG posts I wanted to the past months. Ill have to make a point of an extra post tomorrow for my final episode predictions.
Oh and aparantly with the new star trek movie trailer recently, my post weeks ago on the first trailer is getting a lot of hits. Maybe I should review the new trailer given my obvious web fame and authority on the subject. I mean, I do follow Wil Wheaton, LeVar Burton, and Brent Spiner on twitter. None of them are involved in the new movie so that makes me equally qualified to comment on it as them. Hah.
Hmm. What else to write on the plane. Turbulence sucks. There. That’ll be sufficient.
